Chicken Noodle Soup
This soup, which is impossible for me to drink normally, comes to my mind whenever a family member is sick. In fact, if we say that it repels colds and flu, the name fits so well :) It is practical as well as flexible enough to take whatever you add into it. Whether with vegetables, seasoned, vermicelli or chicken pieces… You can make dozens of different soups under the name of chicken soup.
(I usually add extra lemon-black pepper to avoid the chicken smell and taste :))
The recipe I'm going to write today is classic chicken noodle soup, it's entirely up to you to throw pieces of the chicken you cooked into it. But to give it its due, I recommend serving it with black pepper and lemon.
You can use various methods to obtain chicken broth.
- The broth of the chicken you boiled for food
- The fat that comes out when you cook chicken in a bag (in the oven)
- Buying soup (very economical) chicken from the butcher or market and boiling it
By using one of these methods, you can make practical and healthy soups from the chicken broth you obtain.
If you are not going to use the chicken broth right away, but you do not want it to be wasted, you can pour it into ice molds and freeze it in the refrigerator, and use it instead of bouillon in your meals. Love…
Ingredients for Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe
- 3 tablespoons of vermicelli
- 1,5 liter chicken stock
- 1 spoonful butter
- 1 medium tomato or 1 tablespoon tomato paste (both if you want)
- salt
- black pepper
- parsley
How to Make Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe?
- Take 1 tablespoon of butter in a saucepan, add tomato paste and fry it.
- Add the chicken stock and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Boil the noodles, salt and optionally chicken pieces in boiling water for another 15 minutes.
- Take into serving bowls and serve by sprinkling parsley on top.
