Lamb Shish with Vegetables

This week I had the opportunity to rest and read a bit. I've been in the kitchen as much as I can, actually I'm in the kitchen all the time, but when it's either for school or work and I can't share it with you, it doesn't feel like I've done much.

Since it seems practical these days, I usually prepare grilled meat and a little something on the side. The ones I prepare are mostly green salad and soy sauce noodles, or Chinese noodles.

Those who do not like meat plain as I cook it, can prepare a simple marinade like in this recipe and make their meat even more tender and juicy. While preparing the recipe, you can also make use of the vegetables that are left alone at home.

Ingredients for Vegetable Lamb Skewer Recipe

  • 300 g lamb cubed
  • 6 mushrooms
  • 2 pieces of green pepper
  • 2 capia (red) peppers
  • 12 shallots
  • salt
  • black pepper

How to Make a Lamb Shish Recipe with Vegetables?

  1. If the diced meats are not of equal size, reduce the large ones to make them equal sizes.
  2. Peel and wash the shallots. Cut the mushrooms into 4 pieces. Chop the green pepper and capia pepper in the size of the meat.
  3. Arrange shallots, mushrooms, meats and peppers on skewers. Seal the lamb meat in a cast iron skillet, if available, or in a frying pan, if not, until the color of the lamb darkens slightly and the corners take on the color in the photo.
  4. Set the oven to 200 degrees, season the sealed meats with salt and pepper and bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Serve with lavash, rice, or noodles.
