Who doesn't love crispy pomegranate fried pies, here's an easy recipe for you... In order to ward off sudden guest raids, it's enough to keep 1 pack of ready-made puff pastry dough in the fridge :) It's practical that you can prepare not only with sausage, but also with cheese, cheddar, salami and all kinds of ingredients you can think of...

with feta cheese

Materials:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry dough
  • sausage
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoons of margarine

Fabrication:

  1. We take the puff pastry dough out of the fridge and separate it one by one and wait for it to soften (it will soften in 5 minutes if the house is warm).
  2. We slice the sausages crosswise, put them on the softened dough, fold them in a triangle shape or fold them at the ends and combine them in such a way that they do not overlap each other in the middle.
  3. Spread some margarine on it.
  4. We put it on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper, brush it with egg yolk and bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.

Note: If you mix 1 teaspoon of tomato paste into the egg yolk, your puff pastry will brown like a pomegranate.
