Ingredients for Salsa Verde – Green Tomato Sauce Recipe

  • 4-5 green tomatoes
  • 2 jalapeños or hot peppers
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • half onion
  • 1 large pinch of parsley
  • Salt
  • Juice of half a lemon 
  • olive oil

How to Make Salsa Verde – Green Tomato Sauce Recipe?

  1. Place whole green tomatoes and peppers into the airfryer.
  2. Peel the garlic and onion, roughly chop the onion and place in the airfryer. Cook for 10-12 minutes until well charred.
  3. Put all the cooked ingredients into a blender or food processor, add the parsley, olive oil and salt.
  4. Add the lemon juice and blend until you reach the desired consistency.
  5. You can consume it immediately or put it in a jar and refrigerate and consume it within 1 week.
