Roasted Hibiscus

I shared my first Hibiscus recipe with you in 2010. I've had it maybe 2 or 3 times since then. One does not always have the chance to find something fresh in Istanbul. Of course, the increase in enterprises selling local products has greatly facilitated our work compared to the past. Lovers can easily buy products online by making a short search.
There are many recipes made with leaves such as roasted eggs, egg rolls, warm salads, and wraps. Not only leaves but also flowers are used.
I will add the recipes of Shepherd's Whistle and Labada herbs as soon as possible.

Ingredients for Roasted Hibiscus Recipe
- 1 bunch of hibiscus grass
- 1 medium onion
- 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil
- salt
- black pepper
- Red pepper
Fabrication:
- Extract the hibiscus, wash it in 1-2 waters and finely chop the leaves and stems. Chop the onion.
- Put olive oil in a large saucepan, add the onions and fry until the onions turn pink.
- Add the hibiscus that you have cut for cooking, add salt and pepper and continue frying.
- Fry the hibiscus until it releases its juice. Serve warm or cold.
