Hello Dear Friends,

In the meantime, I shared so many bread recipes that I wanted to take a sweet break from bread recipes :) I will bring the delicious smell of revani to your mind on Sunday and I will continue with new bread recipes on Monday, moreover, with a video.

I shared the Orange Revani Dessert 8 years ago on my blog. I guess we were in the middle of a hot Ramadan then, because it's called revani with ice cream and orange :)

Ingredients for Orange Revani (Full Measured) Recipe

200 ml water glass / 100 ml tea glass

  • 3 pieces of eggs
  • half a glass of granulated sugar
  • half a glass of semolina
  • 1 teaspoon of yogurt
  • Half a teaspoon of sunflower oil
  • 1 water glass flour
  • 1 package baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest

For the syrup:

  • 1 glass of orange juice
  • 1,5 water glass of water
  • 2 cup powdered sugar

For Service:

  • coconut grater
  • orange or strawberry slices

How to Make Orange Revani (Full Measured) Recipe?

  1. For the syrup, put sugar, orange juice and water in a saucepan and boil over high heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Boil for another 5 minutes, remove from heat and leave to cool.
  2. Put the eggs and granulated sugar in a whisk, beat until the eggs are fluffy. Add the yogurt and sunflower oil and continue mixing.
  3. Add flour, semolina, baking powder and orange zest to the mixture and continue mixing without extinguishing the eggs.
  4. Grease a medium-sized borer. Spread the revani mixture you prepared on the tray you greased. Bake in a preheated 170 degree oven until golden brown.
  5. Before taking the Revani out of the oven, insert a toothpick to check if the inside is cooked. If the toothpick comes out dry, take the cooked revani from the oven and pour the cooled syrup on it.
  6. Slice and garnish the syrup after it has cooled completely and serve.
