Orange Carrot Soup
Hello Dear Friends,
In our competition held on February 26 - 27, Metehan Tek won the Hotpoint Tea Maker and Toaster by finding the most creative name for our recipe, with the name "Aşk-ı Derman Soup".
Our Name is in My Heart practice has ended. Thank you to everyone who entered our competition.
We spent a romantic, fun and active month together. You won beautiful gifts by finding creative names for the recipes I prepared for you. As every good thing has an end, our competition has come to an end, but everything that ends is also the herald of new beginnings :)

Ingredients for Orange Carrot Soup Recipe
- 350-400 g carrots
- 1 medium onions
- 3 spoonful butter
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh ginger
- 4 cups chicken stock or vegetable stock
- 2 water glass of water
- 3 long strips of orange peel (about the size of a matchstick)
- salt
How to Make Orange Carrot Soup Recipe?
- Chop the onion for food in the chopping bowl of the Hotpoint Multifunctional Hand Blender blender. Slice the peeled carrots by attaching the slicing disc of the blender.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan. Add the onions and carrots and cook, stirring, until the onions turn pink (about 5 minutes). Add 1 teaspoon of salt while cooking.
- Add water, chicken or vegetable stock, ginger and orange peels. Cook for about 20 minutes until the carrots are tender.
- Remove the orange peels from the pot. Puree with a Hand Blender. Add some more salt if needed.
- Serve with scallions and thin orange peels, if desired.
