Hello Dear Friends,

Recently, I talked about the cocoa cracked cookie recipe that I made years ago. Now he looked and I shared it exactly 10 years ago :) During this time, my recipe was tried so many times and received so many comments that I wanted to write some important tricks. The consistency of the dough changes the result of the cookie. It's almost the same as my cookie dough recipe (with the exception of cocoa and orange juice) but different in appearance.

First of all, when the cookie dough is finished kneading, it should not be hard. Think of it like a much denser cake dough (in the making photos) it will stretch when you take it, and it will tighten when it rests in the refrigerator. It will become soft but not sticky to hand and container.

While the cookies are still on the tray, they slowly start to look cracked. Put them as far away from each other as possible and move quickly, as they will swell and spread. As it heats, it melts the powdered sugar.

Lots of ❤️ leave and like, me so @kitchensirlari Don't forget to follow. If you send me a photo when you try my recipe, I would love to share it on my story 📸

Love…

Ingredients for Orange Crack Cookies Recipe

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
  • Half a glass of oil
  • 1 packaged vanilla
  • 1 package baking powder
  • 2 water glass flour
  • Grated rind of 1 orange
  • If the dough is too dense, 2-3 tablespoons of orange juice
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for icing the cookies

Fabrication:

  1. Put the eggs in a mixing bowl, add the sugar and orange zest and whisk.
  2. Add the ghee, vanilla and baking powder and mix. Add the flour and mix with the help of a spatula.
  3. Put the dough in the refrigerator and let it rest for 2 hours.
  4. Take the powdered sugar on a plate. Take walnut-sized pieces from the rested dough, roll them in your hands and dust them with powdered sugar. Arrange on baking trays at 3-4 cm intervals.
  5. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10 minutes. Even if they feel soft, remove them and serve the cookies that harden as they stand.
