Orange Brussels Sprouts Recipe, How to Make? Ingredients for the Recipe
- 500 g brussels sprouts
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium carrot
- 1 capsicum peppers
- 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt
- 1,5 water glass of water
- Juice of 1,5-2 oranges
How To?
- Sharpen the roots of the Brussels sprouts and remove the first leaves with a knife.
- Wash it with plenty of water and cut it into 2 pieces lengthwise, if desired.
- Chop the onion into white pieces. Peel and slice the carrots.
- Add olive oil to the pot and add the onions. When it turns slightly pink, add the carrots you chopped and the pepper you sliced and fry for another 2 minutes.
- Add the cleaned Brussels sprouts, salt and water and close the lid of the pot.
- Cook over low heat until the cabbage becomes soft. Add orange juice to the softened cabbage, stir and remove from the stove.
- Serve warm or cold.
