Pickled Plums
Green plum, sweet plum, pastor plum A unique summer fruit whose name has changed, but whose taste does not change except for its sourness :) This summer, there were plenty of plums in my mother's garden. green plum juice I prepared it, but I especially wanted to update my plum pickle recipe from years ago.
Fruit pickles have been in our culture since ancient times. Not just plums, but cherries, sour cherries and quince pickles of fruits it was done.

Ingredients for Plum Pickle Recipe
(for 3 liter jar)
- 1,5-2 kilos of green plums
- 10 cloves of garlic
- 1 lemon (sliced and thrown in - use the juice if you want)
- Half a glass of grape vinegar
- 1 liter + 600 ml of boiling water
- 4 tablespoons (pickling-pickling) coarse salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- quarter bunch dill
- 1 handful of chickpeas
- 1 tablespoon of ground black pepper or coriander seeds upon request
Fabrication:
- Wash the plums you will pickle well and leave them to drain.
- Place the plums in the jar with the garlic, chickpeas and coriander seeds.
- Add the salt, vinegar, lemon juice and sugar to the boiling water and mix until the salt is completely dissolved.
- When the pickle juice has cooled, fill it in the jar.
- Add the dill that you washed and drained without closing the lid and close the jar in an airtight manner.
- After about 20-25 days, your pickle is ready.

Finally, we close the lid tightly and keep it in a cool place.
