Anyway, I continue with my lentil soup, which is both a nutritious and satisfying recipe that I prepared for healing purposes without boring you too much with these works.

Many people prepare lentil soup in a pressure cooker, I think there is no need for this because everything in it is cooked very, very easily. Also, roasting the ingredients before boiling adds a great flavor to the soup.

Ingredients for Rice Lentil Soup Recipe

  • 1 cup of red lentils
  • Half cup of rice
  • 4-5 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cloves of garlic
  • 10-12 glasses of hot water
  • 1 tablespoon of butter (optional)
  • salt
  • black pepper

How to Make Lentil Soup with Rice Recipe?

  1. Sort the lentils and rice, wash them in 2-3 waters and leave to drain.
  2. Peel and chop the onion, garlic, carrot and potato into equal sizes.
  3. Take olive oil and optionally 1 tablespoon of butter in the pan. Add the chopped ingredients and fry for 1-2 minutes on medium heat.
  4. Add the lentils and rice and fry for 1 more minute.
  5. Add hot water and salt and boil on low heat until the ingredients are soft.
  6. When the vegetables are soft, pass them through a blender and bring to a boil.
  7. If the consistency of the soup is thick, add some hot water and boil it for 1 more time and serve hot.
