Ingredients for Rice Meatballs Recipe

  • 1 cups of rice
  • 1 large pinch of parsley
  • 1 large pinch of dill
  • 3 stalks of scallion
  • 1 pieces of eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of grated white cheese
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 2 cup of breadcrumbs

How to Make Rice Meatballs Recipe?

  1. Wash the rice in 1 water and put it in a small saucepan. Add water until it is 2 inches above the rice and boil it until it is soft. (It's not porridge, it's enough in the consistency of rice) If it stays watery, drain the water and leave it to cool.
  2. While the rice is cooling, finely chop the parsley, dill and spring onions. Add the chopped ingredients, 1 egg, and grated white cheese to the cooled rice.
  3. Add black pepper and some salt if desired and mix well.
  4. Take walnut-sized pieces from the mixed rice and dust them with breadcrumbs.
  5. Deep fry in hot oil. When all the rice meatballs are browned, serve with tomato sauce or garlic yoghurt, if desired.
