Aunt Zekiye's 2nd best recipe :) These pastries are so good that they taste even better as they get stale. Tiny little cheese pastries, their size is as big as mussels. I definitely recommend you to try them…

Ingredients for Cheese Pastry (Small Donuts) Recipe

  • half a pack of margarine (at room temperature)
  • half a glass of oil
  • 1 glasses of yoghurt
  • 2 eggs (on the yolk)
  • 1-2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 package baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar

Inner material:

  • 250-300 gr. feta cheese
  • half bunch of parsley

How to Make Cheese Pastry (Small Donuts) Recipe?

  1. Sift 2-2,5 cups of flour into a wide bowl.
  2. Make a hole in the middle and add half a pack of margarine, half a glass of oil, 2 egg whites (the yolks for the top of the pastries), salt, yogurt, vinegar, baking powder at room temperature and mix.
  3. Add flour little by little and knead until the dough has the consistency of an earlobe.
  4. For the filling, mash the feta cheese with a fork and add the finely chopped parsley and mix well.
  5. Make a flat shape in your palm by tearing off walnut-sized pieces and place the stuffing in the middle and connect the two ends.
  6. Spread the egg yolks on it and place it on a tray lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven until golden brown…

    I was bored in the evening, I thought I'd make a pastry. but I couldn't wait for the dough to ferment or something like that.. I went and there is a recipe for unleavened pastry, I looked at a picture and commented on it..     I didn't want to comment without making the recipe.. I made it, I tasted it, it was a really delicious pastry.. It's incredibly soft on a bike :) I couldn't make any soft pastry :D I was able to make a very soft pastry for the first time, thank you very much to everyone who contributed and of course to aunt ZEKİYE:) have a nice day ..
