Cheesy pastry

On the day we went out for Ramadan shopping, I bought ready-made yufka with the thought of making trotters and spring rolls for sahur and iftar. I took the package from the fridge and opened it last night, but I didn't like the phyllo dough I came across. It's thick like those German napkins that don't tear easily, but interestingly, they tear when you hold them.

Of course, our rag dreams fell into the water, it's a pity for so much phyllo. When I was thinking about what to do, what to do, I thought of making a tray pastry, I thought that if I kept plenty of yogurt sauce, it would be a soft and nice pastry.
I made a rich layered pastry with sauce on my small porcelain tray. We were very pleased with the result, I definitely recommend you to try it. Love…

Ingredients for Cheese Pie Recipe

  • 4 pieces of dough
  • 1 pieces of eggs
  • 1–1,5 cups of yogurt
  • Half a glass of oil

For the stuffing:

  • 250 gr. feta cheese
  • Parsley

How to Make Cheese Pie Recipe?

  1. Chop the parsley, mash the cheese with a fork and mix with the parsley.
  2. Spread baking paper on the baking tray (I didn't use it because I made it on a porcelain tray, I lightly oiled the tray with oil) and lay 1 piece of pastry on it so that the edges overflow from the tray.
  3. Divide the remaining phyllo into 3-4 pieces in your hand and combine them to be laid in 1 layer.
  4. Beat eggs, yoghurt and oil thoroughly, brush with a brush or spoon to cover the dough.
  5. Spread sauce on each layer of dough and sprinkle with cheese.
  6. When it comes to the last part, neatly cover the wide phyllo on the bottom of the pastry.
  7. Spread on remaining sauce and sprinkle with donut balls.
  8. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven until nicely browned.

I liked and loved this site very much, as I myself am a culinary enthusiast, I would like to share my own experiences with you. The dough I bought today is exactly the same as the recipe above. It's a thick dough layer, I didn't know the trick of yogurt, it's good I learned it, I'm going to try it exactly.. love..

Now, is the borege in this picture only 4 sheets of dough used? I got the phyllo ready. Is that okay?

Yes, I usually make pastries using pyrex instead of a tray. Since it is much smaller than a pyrex tray, we apply sauce and fold the phyllo overflowing from the edge. In this way, there are more floors.

Is it okay if we do this now and cook it in the morning?

You can cover it with cling film and keep it in the refrigerator. When it is baked in the morning, it will be more delicious because it is cooked for 1 night.

    Hello Alev Hn.
First of all, thank you very much for your interest and appreciation. Scalloped potatoes are my favourite, but we can't give up fries as a family, no matter how greasy it is, so I've never tried it in the oven (hmm, it's obvious why I haven't lost weight :)

When I went to dinner with my wife and a friend, I tasted the baked potato with scallops, but I didn't like it, it was as if I had eaten a soft potato. But as soon as possible (within my own weight) I will try to do a few tests, I will post the results for you. Love…

    Hello Nilay h.
I visit your site every day and enjoy it immensely. I have a small request from you. I'm addicted to scalloped potatoes. But I can't make it at home. I don't want it to be fried, known kilos :( I would be very happy if you publish the recipe for fried like pomegranate in the oven sometime.
    Good luck in advance :)
