Potato Bread
Hello Dear Friends,
Our history with potato bread goes back to the pastry and bakery school I went to. Then when we tried this bread, I was very surprised by its softness and not staying fresh for long. The worst part is that there is no water rate or anything in our grades :) I made some delicious potato breads by adding a little bit to the ingredients and completely renewing the measurements.
I will add the video to my youtube channel as soon as possible, but I will write the order so that you do not get confused. To be notified as soon as the video is added Don't forget to subscribe to my channel :)
1- activate the yeast
2- add materials, race
3- take it to the counter and collect it
4- leave to ferment first
5- portion and fold
6- leave the tray to ferment
7- the final stage is in the oven
If you do not deviate from this order, you will prepare your bread in a very dark way :)
I would love to share my recipes with your photos in my story :) My Instagram account: @kitchensirlari

- 1 pieces of eggs
- 2 teaspoon of granulated sugar
- 4 teaspoon of olive oil
- half a pack of instant yeast (5 g)
- 1 sweet spice salt
- 1 glasses of warm water (200 ml)
- 4 cups of flour (450 g)
How to Make Potato Bread Recipe?
- Take warm water, instant yeast and granulated sugar into a mixing bowl and wait for the yeast to foam.
- When the yeast is activated, add the mashed potatoes, olive oil and egg and mix.
- Take 3 cups of flour and salt into the kneading bowl and start kneading the bread first at low speed and then at high speed.
- Add the remaining flour to the gathered dough and continue kneading.
- Flour your hands and the counter and take the dough from the container to the counter. Sprinkle flour on top and collect the dough and leave it to ferment in a bowl for 45 minutes to 1 hour until the dough doubles in size.
- Divide the fermented dough into 10 pieces with the help of a chisel or knife.
- Open the first piece on the floured counter with a rolling pin and roll it slightly, then open the roll again slightly, fold it and roll it in your hand.
- Apply this process to all the meringues and place them on the baking tray with greaseproof paper at intervals of 4-5 cm.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Spread melted butter on the fermented bread, sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake in the oven in which you put hot water in a bowl and heated to 190 degrees for 15-16 minutes until golden brown.
- Cover the baked bread and let it rest until it cools.
