Potato peeling and slicing techniques

Hold the potato firmly with your hand on the bottom and the potato facing you. Move the peeler from top to bottom as in the photo. Continue the same process until the entire potato is peeled. (The reason why we use a peeler instead of a knife is to prevent waste by peeling the skin of the whole potato equally thickly and deeper than necessary)

3. Cutting Half Moon: Then cut the piece you have obtained into 1 cm slices. | 4. Cut the ring: Cut the whole peeled potato into 1 cm pieces. |
5. French Fries: Slice the peeled potato into rings. Cut each of the pieces you sliced into vertical strips. | 6. Dice Cubes: Obtain cubes by dividing the potato, which you cut into strips, into equal pieces in width. |
