Hello Dear Friends,

You should try the classic potato sitting recipe with its new presentation :) As a matter of fact, I liked this version much more. Of course, this may be because I am not very fond of juicy meals.

I saw this presentation at the hotel we went to for a short vacation this summer. They called it "home kebab with potatoes", the sauce was not very thick and suffocating. That's why I leave the service to you. Whether you want to serve it as "Yuva Kebab" without sauce or with a little sauce, you can use a little more sauce and say don't sit with potatoes. Either way, it will be greatly appreciated.

The most practical tool you will use to remove the inside of the potatoes is the melon spoon. You can get it from shops selling kitchen supplies. You can use it not only for carving potatoes, but also in fruit salads.

  1. Peel the insides of the potatoes and make a neat hole in them with the help of a vegetable cutter or a spoon.
  2. Put the prepared tomatoes in salted water so that they do not darken.
  3. Put the chopped onion and finely chopped garlic in a pan with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, add a little salt and fry until it turns pink.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon of tomato paste and continue frying. Add the minced meat and fry it until it releases its water. Just before removing from the stove, add the garnish, mix and remove from the stove.
  5. Fry the potatoes in plenty of oil (if possible in a frying pan).
  6. Divide the minced meat among the potatoes.
  7. For the sauce, whisk together olive oil, tomato paste, water and some salt.
  8. Arrange the stuffing in my debt, pour the tomato paste sauce on it. Bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
  9. Put the cheddar slices on the potatoes and bake for another 5 minutes until the cheddar is browned. Serve hot.

Hello, the tomato is not in the material list, but you said that you should put the tomatoes in salt water during the preparation part, would this be a potato?

Is there an alternative such as boiling the potatoes instead of frying them or baking them without filling the ingredients?

Boiling can be an alternative. If you put it raw, the potatoes will not be cooked.

Thank you very much :) Of course, boiling is also an alternative, but the most delicious version is fried, unfortunately :)
