How to Make Ripe Fig Jam Recipe?

  1. Wash your figs without cutting the stems and put them on a cloth to drain. Arrange the figs with the stems facing up in a large steel pot.
  2. Cover the figs you have arranged by pouring all the sugar on them and leave them for 1 night by closing the lid.
  3. Cook over low heat until the jam thickens (mix very little and carefully).
  4. Add the juice of half a lemon 4-5 minutes before taking it off the stove and bring it to a boil and take it off the stove.
  5. Whether hot or cold, divide into jars and keep tightly closed jars in the refrigerator after they cool.

Hello Bilge, take it to the stove and let it boil over low heat. If it doesn't leave the water, if you add half or 1 tea glass of water, I think it will be enough. Yours sincerely

If the jam has thickened, unfortunately, there is nothing you can do. You can use it in desserts if you want. Yours sincerely

Mrs. Deniz, I made it with your recipe, the shells were very hard, why do you think? Is the fig variety important for jam? I will be glad if you answer :)

If you put a little bit of spice, which is KAKULE in Turkish, and Hel in Arabic, it is inedible.

    Enjoy your meal..

Normally, figs leave their water at night, if the water is less in your eyes, you can add up to 1 tea glass of water.
