Purslane Meal with Chickpeas
Hello Dear Friends,
When I went to the market yesterday, I saw such fresh and beautiful purslane that I couldn't resist and bought it right away. When I got home, I immediately prepared 2 recipes. Since the bunch was very large, it was enough for both recipes :) Since the other was a salad, the purslane did not go away.
My daughter also loves the purslane dish with chickpeas. That's why I try to do it once a week.
Salad is also our favourite, we made with garlic yoghurt and roasted chickpeas on top of the salad :) I will share its recipe with you as soon as possible.

Ingredients for the Recipe for Purslane with Chickpeas
- 1 bunch of purslane
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium tomatoes
- 4-5 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 cup boiled chickpeas
- 1 medium carrot
- 2 cloves of garlic
- salt
How to Make Purslane with Chickpeas Recipe?
- Chop the purslane that you have washed and drained into large pieces.
- Chop the onions and tomatoes. Finely chop the garlic, grate the carrot.
- Put olive oil in a medium saucepan, add the chopped onions and salt, fry until the onions turn pink. Add the grated carrots and fry them.
- Mix in the tomatoes and garlic.
- Add the chickpeas and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring.
- Add the purslane and cook over medium heat until all the ingredients are cooked.
