Hello Dear Friends,

I have tried Stinging Nettle in different recipes before. This recipe is the apple of the eye of Figen sister in Alaçatı in the spring. Viento AlacatiI took notes along with other recipes that I tasted and liked very much. When I go to Alaçatı Herb Festival, it is definitely one of the places I stop by and take a breather. With its delicious food and pleasant conversation, time flies so beautifully and fast that you don't even realize it.

Even now, since I came across it in the market and in the summer house, I decided to share it even after a while.

Nettle, as it is called, should not be approached with bare hands. While weeding, gloves should definitely be used. If you sort it out, wash it and leave it in water for 10-15 minutes, your hand can no longer dive. However, if you have an allergic body, do not touch it with bare hands until it is fully cooked.

Those who are curious about Viento Alaçatı should check out their instagram account. I am sure you will like it :) You can find her instagram account here. Say hi for me if you stop by :)

Love…

    Hello,
    A very good recipe.
In our village, stinging nettle grows everywhere. At the moment, there is no fresh, dried nettle, is it possible to make this soup with dried nettle?
I will put chickpea seeds, which we have grown with the traditional method, into it, I think it will be very nice.
