Hello Dear Friends,

It's been more than a month since I gave my last cake recipe. While I'm baking cakes these days, I wouldn't be able to share this recipe. Lately, I think my taste buds have been going towards sweeter cakes. I increased the amount of sugar to almost 1 cups.

The only difference in a classic cake recipe is that there is some starch in it. So you can cook it in the mold you want. In this recipe, I used one of these newly released small packets of orange candies. Anyone who wants can try one of them, it wasn't bad.

Ingredients for Starch Marbling Cake Recipe

  • 3 eggs (large)
  • A little less than 1,5 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1,5 tea cup oil
  • 1,5 teaspoon of yogurt
  • 1,5 water glass flour
  • half a glass of wheat starch
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar or orange sugar
  • 2 heaped tablespoons of cocoa

How to Make Starch Ebruli Cake Recipe?

  1. Take the eggs in a mixing bowl, add sugar and beat at high speed until the color turns white and foamy.
  2. Add the yogurt and oil and whisk a little more.  
  3. Add vanilla or orange sugar, baking powder, flour and starch and beat until there are no lumps.
  4. Grease half of the cake mix you have prepared and pour it into the floured cake mold, add cocoa to the remaining cake batter and whisk.
  5. Pour the cocoa mixture into the middle of the plain cake mix. Mix with a fork.
  6. Bake the soda cake you prepared in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 25-30 minutes.
  7. Before taking it out of the oven, check whether it is cooked with the help of a skewer.
  8. Take the baked cake out of the oven, slice and serve when it has cooled completely.
