A recipe you will love with its lightness and puff puff sponge cake Banana Roll Cake. The texture of sponge cake is quite light and very susceptible to breakage. As a matter of fact, it doesn't matter if it breaks, after all, you cover it with cream and pass.
I added extra chocolate to the top coating, you may not add it if you wish. Instead of whipped cream, I separated a little from the inner cream, as it was lighter and more delicious, and whipped it with the usual can of milk cream and covered the cake. Ingredients for Banana Roll Cake Recipe
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 water glass flour
For the inside (cream):
- 1 tea glass of flour
- 2 water glass milk
- 1 tea glass of granulated sugar
- 2 drops of vanilla flavoring
- 1 spoonful butter
- 2 banana
For the top:
- 3 tablespoons of whipped cream
- half a pack of milk cream (100 g box of cream)
- 30 g couverture chocolate
- 2 tablespoons of almonds
How to Make Banana Roll Cake Recipe?
- For the sponge cake, break the eggs into a bowl.
- Add granulated sugar and beat until it becomes 3-4 times more solid.
- Add half of the flour to the eggs you have raised by sifting and mix them from the bottom up. Add the remaining flour in the same way.
- Pour the mixture you prepared on the baking tray on which you have greased paper and spread it with the help of a spatula. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
- While the cake is baking, mix the milk, flour and granulated sugar for the cream and cook it until it gets a pudding consistency.
- Add vanilla flavor and butter to the creamy consistency and whisk, remove from the heat. When cool, set aside 3 tablespoons.
- Wrap the sponge cake you bought from the oven with greaseproof paper as soon as it reaches its first temperature.
- Allow to cool by wrapping with a slightly damp towel or kitchen cloth.
- Open the sponge cake, spread half the cream inside. Place the bananas and start wrapping. When it comes to half, apply the remaining cream and wrap it.
- Cut the excess on both ends of the roll you prepared with the help of a knife.
- Beat the cream you separated with half a pack of milk cream and apply a spatula on the roll.
- Pour the melted chocolate on top of the cream and apply a spatula. Sprinkle with almonds and slice and serve.
