Hello Dear Friends,
Everyone's taste is different, of course, but there are two offal that I love to consume in this life. One of them is tripe and the other is kokoreç. One of the most popular mushroom recipes of recent times is Mushroom Kokoreç, perhaps because it is budget-friendly, perhaps because it is very popular as a substitute. Of course, it is possible for a mushroom and kokorec lover like me not to try it :)

Mostly oyster mushrooms are used because they have a similar texture and release less water, but I cooked them directly with cultivated mushrooms. For the next one, I will use oysters, that is, beech mushrooms. Let me put it this way, I've never been able to get it out of my mind since the day I cooked it. If possible, I would cook it 3-4 times a week :)
Maybe there is nothing we can't eat with this spice combination, what do you think :)

Ingredients for Mushroom Kokorec Recipe

  • 300 g mushrooms
  • 2 medium size tomatoes
  • 3 long green peppers
  • 4-5 tablespoons of oil
  • thyme
  • Red pepper
  • cumin
  • salt


Fabrication:

  1. Peel and chop the peppers and tomatoes.
  2. Dry the washed mushrooms and cut them into small cubes.
  3. Take the oil in the pan, sauté the peppers a little, add the mushrooms and continue sautéing.
  4. Add the tomatoes and spices to the mushrooms that release their juices and mix.
  5. Serve with the bread of your choice.
