Flour Halva with Ice Cream and Milk
Hello dear friends,
Today, with a sudden decision, we landed on the roads of Şile at around 06:00 in the morning. When the clock showed 08:00, we had already entered the sea. After breakfast rest, we returned to our house in time because of the oil lamp.
I know it's a little late, but when I was trying to prepare brioche buns for tomorrow's picnic, time flew by like water :) I could only sit in front of the computer.
We all roast flour halva in our own way. I add milk instead of water, so it becomes even more delicious. Nuts are also very good when serving.
Considering the temperature of the weather, adding ice cream to your halva is great. I definitely recommend you to try the combination of Cut Maraş Ice Cream and Flour Halva with Milk.
Happy candles…
Love!
Ingredients for Ice Cream Milk Flour Halva Recipe
- 1 pack of margarine (250 g)
- 2 water glass flour
- 2,5 cup powdered sugar
- 2,5 water glass milk
For the above:
- Powdered Pistachios
1 slice of Maraş Ice Cream for each plate
Fabrication:
- Boil 2,5 cups of milk. Melt 1 pack of margarine in a medium-sized Teflon saucepan.
- Add flour to the melted margarine and fry it with a wooden spoon until the smell of flour is gone.
- Add sugar to the flour that smells and continue to fry. When the flour comes together completely, add the boiled milk and mix quickly for 2-3 more minutes.
- When the halva is completely freed from the pot and collected, turn off the stove and close the lid of the pot by covering it with a cloth.
- Take the halva, which is infused for 15 minutes, with an ice cream spoon and place 2 balls on the serving plate. Add 1 slice of cut Maraş ice cream to each plate. Serve sprinkled with pistachios on top.
