While preparing the recipe, you need to follow some tricks. The first of these is that the puff pastry is neither too frozen nor too melted. If it is too dull, it will break while trying to knit. If it is too soft, it will be difficult to knit and deformed because it will stick together.

Since the main dish is meat, I did not use meat in the rice, instead I added chicken broth to increase its flavor. I use 1 cups of chicken stock for 1,5 cup of rice. Ingredients for Puff Pastry Rice Recipe

  • 1 cups of rice
  • 1 spoonful butter
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of parsley
  • 1 pinch of dill
  • 1 cup canned garnish
  • salt
  • 1,5 cup of hot water

For the puff pastry:

  • 1 egg yolks
  • 1 pack of puff pastry (20 pieces) 

How to Make Puff Pastry Rice Recipe?

  1. Add two tablespoons of butter to the rice cooker and melt it. After draining the rice waiting in the water thoroughly, add it to the pot.
  2. Mix and fry for 4-5 minutes, add salt and water, cook the rice on medium setting and remove from the stove.
  3. Add chopped parsley, dill and the garnish you filtered, mix and set aside.
  4. While the puff pastries are half frozen, cut them lengthwise into 9 pieces (do not separate the 2 puff pastries, they should be long rectangles, not squares)
  5. Assemble the pieces by making a top and a bottom as in the photo.
  6. Grease a medium-sized soufflé bowl and place the puff pastry in the form of a wicker plait that you have prepared, leaving the edges out.
  7. Put the rice in it with the help of a tablespoon and cover the remaining puff pastry ends on the rice.
  8. Place the puff pastry rice you took out of the bowl on the greased baking tray.
  9. Bake in the oven preheated to 190 degrees until the bottom is cooked and the top is browned.
  10. Serve hot.
