Tonight, we are invited to dinner with our friends that we have not seen for a long time. I decided to prepare a little surprise for them. In this way, the 2nd cake recipe of the day has met with you.

muffin tray

It has many names such as marble cake, 2-color cake, patisserie cake. It is quite delicious with the cake formula I always use. The only difference was that I added extra coffee to make it even more delicious.

Instead of taking a big cake as a gift, I used a muffin pan similar to the heart cake.

On the approaching Valentine's Day, when hearty decorations and candies in all markets, our cakes turned into very nice gifts...

Ingredients for Marble Muffin Cake Recipe

  • 3 pieces of eggs
  • 1,5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 water glass measure of oil
  • 3 cups of cake flour (cake flour contains baking powder)
  • 1 glasses of yoghurt
  • 1 packet of vanillin with sugar
  • 2 soup spoons of cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons of instant coffee

How to Make Marble Muffin Cake Recipe?

  1. Put the sugar and eggs in a whisk, when the mixture turns white (until the sugar is completely dissolved), beat it with a mixer at low speed and then at high speed.
  2. Add yogurt and oil to the beaten eggs and mix for another 1-2 minutes.
  3. Finally, add the flour and vanilla, mix until you get a smooth dough.
  4. Grease and flour your cake tin, then pour half of the dough into the tin.
  5. Add cocoa and instant coffee to the dough remaining in the whisk and mix until it changes color.
  6. Add the cocoa dough on the dough in the cake mold. Gently mix the dough with a toothpick or spoon handle.
  7. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 30 minutes. Before taking it out of the oven, check if the middle is cooked, if not, cook for another 5 minutes. Remove your baked cakes from the mold when they come to room temperature.

I tried this recipe tonight.. I used a rectangular mold. It was cooked on the outside and not on the inside. It was very bad. It was dough.

It is one of the recipes I always use, but I make it in muffin molds. It takes longer to cook because your mold is larger.

We made it next to the milk for the children after school, it was wonderful – a very easy cake..
Sugar seems like too much for me. I poured a glass of it.
