How to Make Lentil Meatballs Recipe?

  1. Boil 2 glasses of lentils with 4 glasses of water (if the water is not enough, you can add water).
  2. When the lentils burst and half a glass of water remains in the pot, turn off the stove and pour your fine bulgur over the lentils. Mix the lentils and bulgur, close the lid of the pot and infuse for 15 minutes.
  3. While the bulgur is swelling, grate 1 medium onion in a small pan or chop it for cooking, add the margarine on it and fry it.
  4. Add the tomato paste to the onions and fry for 1-2 more minutes. Turn off the stove, add the red pepper and black pepper to the onion mixture.
  5. Finely chop the parsley and spring onions.
  6. Take the lentils and bulgur in a large bowl and pour the oily mixture over it, add salt.
  7. The sauce with tomato paste needs to be spread all over the lentils and bulgur, so knead well (or put on the dough kneading attachment of your mixer and mix it with it).
  8. Add finely chopped parsley, onion and lemon juice, mix by kneading. Leave it for 2-3 minutes. Transfer it to the plate you will serve by shaping it with your hands.

We are two sisters aged 14-16, because my mother is working, she usually cannot cook this type of food.
we said we would do it ourselves and we did it, it was amazingly delicious. We recommend you to increase the lemon and tomato paste, add sumac and add dry onion, thank you very much, good luck to you :)

It's a wonderful taste... I guess there's no one who wouldn't try it. As a Southerner, I suggest: Serve it with lots of sour, onion, finely chopped lettuce, parsley, sumac salad instead of lemon juice.

Margarine is used for easy meatballs, I guess in this meatball (because the maragarine freezes), but it is not necessary, it is enough to knead the bulgur in all bulgur works. For meatballing, the type of your bulgur is important.

    Thanks for sharing, good luck.

There is bulgur in this recipe and celiac patients can never consume it. Why do you publish such a recipe in the gluten-free products section?
