Ingredients for Unleavened Yogurt Pie Recipe

  • 1 teaspoon of yogurt
  • 1 water glass of water
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 – 4,5 cups of flour (may decrease or increase slightly)
  • A pinch of salt

To fry:

  • Vegetable oil

How to Make Unleavened Yogurt Pie Recipe?

  1. Add water, yogurt, baking powder and salt to 3 glasses of flour and mix well.
  2. Add 1 cup of flour little by little and start kneading.
  3. Continue kneading, adding flour little by little until you get a coarse and non-sticky dough.
  4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Open the rested dough on the floured counter until it is 1-2 cm thick.
  6. Cut into desired size pieces with a knife, cookie cutter or glass.
  7. Fry in the preheated oil until golden brown.
  8. Place the fried dough on paper towels and serve.
