Ingredients for Unleavened Slices of Pastry Recipe

  • 1 egg (on top of the yolk into the white)
  • 1 heaping tablespoon of butter
  • 1 cup grated white cheese & fresh cheddar)
  • 1 package baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt (not needed if the cheese is salty)
  • 2-3 tablespoons of sliced ​​black olives
  • 2-3 dried tomatoes
  • 1,5 water glass flour

For the top:

  • egg yolk
  • sesame, black cumin

How to Make Unleavened Slices of Pastry?

  1. Take the butter, egg whites, sliced ​​olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and cheese graters into a deep bowl.
  2. Start kneading by adding baking powder and 1,5 cups of flour.
  3. Put the gathered dough on the counter and knead it until it is soft.
  4. Roll it in your hand and flatten it by pressing lightly and roll it out to 2 cm thickness with the help of a rolling pin.
  5. Slice it with a knife.
  6. Brush the top with egg yolk and sprinkle sesame and black cumin seeds if desired. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees until golden brown (about 20 minutes).
