Since last winter I was very happy that I did not have a cold or flu, but the instability of the weather began to affect me in some way. My allergy, which usually comes with spring, started to show itself, wasn't there at least 1,5 months before spring?

Anyway, these days, I will try to eat as healthy as I can while the weather and my body are so unstable. In fact, I also take supplements and antioxidant junk every morning. I hope I can quickly get rid of the spring fatigue that knocks on my door early.

Celery with olive oil

Everyone started to get used to celery, actually, I think the orange celery recipe had a great effect on this. Since only tangerines remained at home this week, I tried the recipe with them. It was really nice with tangerines that are like honey in their season. I didn't even need to add a small amount of sugar to each olive oil dish.

Remember, celery starts to darken as soon as it is chopped. For these reasons, before you start chopping, squeeze 1 lemon into a bowl filled with deep water and throw the peels into it. Then start the processes for the other stages of the meal.

I used it because I had 1 jar of garnish at hand. If you want, you can add carrots and potatoes by chopping them yourself.


Ingredients for Tangerine Celery Recipe

  • 750 g celery
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 jar of mixed garnishes
  • Half tea glass of olive oil
  • 1 cup of tangerine juice
  • 1,5 cups of water
  • Salt

How to Make Tangerine Celery Recipe?

  1. Chop the celery into cubes, keep it in water with 1 lemon squeezed so that it does not darken while making other preparations.
  2. Put the olive oil in the pan, add the onions and salt and fry until they turn pink.
  3. Add the drained celery to the pink onion and fry for 1 minute.
  4. Add the garnishes you have strained into the pot, mix 1-2 times. Add salt, 1 glass of tangerine juice and 1,5 glasses of water.
  5. Bring to a boil over high heat and cook until the celery is soft by taking the stove to the lowest.
  6. Serve warm or cold.
