Maklube is a very different recipe specially prepared for us by dear Seda. Its biggest feature is that it is served with a tray (Sini). I think this feature adds more sincerity to this delicious dish.

If you like to cook by mixing pilaf with something like me, I definitely recommend you to try it. You can also use cubed lamb or beef instead of chicken. You can also catch other flavors by adding different spices. Love…

Ingredients for Maklube Recipe

2 large chicken breasts (diced)
3 tablespoons of oil or butter
2 cups of rice
1 teaspoons of oil
salt

For the garnish:

5 carrot
3 potato
1 can of peas

For the salad:

1 lettuce
half a bunch of green onions
3 tablespoons of olive oil
3 pieces of tomato
Yoghurt

How to Make Maklube Recipe?

1- Cut the potatoes and carrots into cubes and fry them. Wash and drain the peas. Put the rice in warm salt water.
2- Put the diced chicken meat in the pot where you will make the maklube, add a little oil on it and start frying it in oil over medium heat. Fry the chicken until it releases its water.
3- Put the fried potatoes, then the carrots and then the drained peas on the cooked chicken.
4- Drain the rice water and add it to the peas. Add 1 teaspoon of oil to the pot. Finally, add enough water to pass the rice very little and let it cook on low heat.
5- While the rice is cooking, prepare your salad. Infuse the rice for 10 minutes when the water is absorbed.
6- Turn the tray on which you cooked the maklube on a wide tray. Serve by pouring a row of salad and a row of yoghurt on the sides of the rice as in the photo.
