Hello Dear Friends,

We were apart for 3-4 days. I know that you miss me as much as I miss you (bring a sassy smile here :) During the days we were apart, we dealt with very difficult jobs and realized our dream with my wife :)

As I always say, my house and kitchen are my castles… Finally, we have a castle that we can use and furnish as we wish. Now I have started to deal with the decoration of the kitchen and to turn it into a space that I can use in my future projects and video recipes.

In short, I will be in a hurry to move very soon :) Wish me luck and strength!!!

plain cake

I have to leave the house in half an hour, but I need to mention some important points about the recipe.

First of all, the cake batter fits perfectly into a medium-sized lozenge mold, but I don't remember the size of the mold. Since I was going to take it to the picnic, I prepared it in a paper cake mold and took it out just before serving.

Another important point is the size of the Turkish delight you use in it. I used the large Turkish delight that I had at that moment and pressed them to the bottom of the cake. That's why the marshmallows remained at the bottom of the cake. It also leaked a little while cutting because it's quite difficult to cut large marshmallows.

If you use asparagus you will not experience any of these problems.

My friends who tasted it loved the taste and texture. I definitely recommend you to try it.

Important note: You can use butter instead of margarine.

Love…

Ingredients for Turkish Delight Cake Recipe

  • 3 medium egg
  • 150 g room margarine (at room temperature)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of yogurt
  • 2 water glass flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tablespoons of baking powder
  • 8-10 pieces of Turkish delight

How to Make Turkish Delight Cake Recipe?

  1. Take the granulated sugar and margarine into the mixing bowl of the mixer. Beat until creamy.
  2. While continuing to mix at high speed, add the eggs one by one. When the eggs are mixed, add the yogurt and mix.
  3. Add the flour, baking powder and vanilla and whisk until completely mixed.
  4. Grease your loaf pan and pour the mixture into it. Dip the Turkish delights side by side into the cake.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until the top is browned and the inside comes out dry (about 40 minutes, but check the cake from time to time). (Check whether it is cooked with a toothpick. It means that it is cooked on a dry toothpick)
