Ingredients for Leek Quiche Recipe
4 leek
1 carrot
1 pack of puff pastry rolls
1 pack of chewing gum (200 gr.)
2 pieces of eggs
100 g of feta cheese
3 brussels sprouts (optional)
Butter
Salt and pepper
Fabrication:
Leave the puff pastry dough at room temperature until soft. (If you have square dough in your hand, the same process is valid, but you need to press them while spreading them in the baking dish)
1- Peel the carrot and cut the julienne. Wash and finely chop the leeks.
2- Saute the carrot and leek in butter for 2-3 minutes.
3-4 Beat the cream, eggs and spices with a wire whisk.
5- Spread the puff pastry on the pan you oiled or in the clamped mold. Spread the leeks and carrots that you sauteed by straightening the edges as in the photo.
6- Crush the white cheese on it and spread the creamy mixture. Decorate with sliced cabbage and carrots and bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 30*35 minutes. Cover it with aluminum foil 10 minutes before taking it out of the oven to prevent it from burning. Serve hot or warm.
Can we use regular phyllo dough instead of puff pastry?

I also tried the recipe, it was very good, but I had the same problem as you said. I think the square dough is a little thick and it gets thicker because we put them on top of each other to stick them together.
