Log Cake - Christmas Cake

Ingredients for Billet Cake-Christmas Cake Recipe
For the sponge cake:
- 6 large eggs
- 1,5 tea glass of granulated sugar
- 1,5 tea glass of flour
- 3 soup spoons of cocoa
- 1 package baking powder
- 4 tablespoons of oil
- 2-3 drops of vanilla flavoring
For the whipped cream:
- 1 pack of cold milk cream (200 ml box cream)
- 1 box of fresh cheese (pınar white or mis fresh cheese)
- 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar
- 1 cup of milk chocolate (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon of chocolate chips
For the Top Cream:
- 1 tea glass of cream (separate while making)
- 1 cup finely chopped dark chocolate
For decoration:
- powdered sugar
- mushroom chocolate
- pine woods
- gingerbread christmas cookies
How to Make Billet Cake - Christmas Cake Recipe?
- Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa together and set aside.
- Beat the eggs with the granulated sugar until the sugar dissolves and becomes foamy.
- Add the liquid and add the vanilla and beat once more.
- Add the sifted cocoa flour into the mixture and whisk until completely mixed.
- Pour the mixture onto the greased tray, lined with greaseproof paper. Bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 8-9 minutes.
- Take the baked cake out of the oven and roll it carefully. rest until thawed
- Carefully open the warm cake and separate it from the paper. (it will leave with its own moisture anyway)
- While the cake is cooling, whisk the fresh cheese, powdered sugar and cream for the inner cream. Add the chocolate melted in the microwave, mix it and put it in the refrigerator.
- Separate 1 tea glass from the cream you prepared and spread the rest into the cooled cake, sprinkle with chocolate chips and roll the cake again.
- Cut a diagonal piece from the cake and form the fork of the log. Transfer the cake to the plate you will serve and put it in the refrigerator.
- For the ganache, melt the chopped chocolate in the microwave. Add 1 tea glass of inner cream that you reserved to the melted chocolate and mix well. For the inner cream, give the log lines with the help of a spatula on the cake you have cooled in the refrigerator.
- If desired, decorate with chocolate mushrooms, pine leaves, cookies, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
