  I don't prefer lamb meat because it is greasy. Can diced beef be used?

  I disagree with the other comments. The tomato paste goes very well with the artichokes, I make it with olive oil. I'm sure it will be much better with tomato paste in the meat. Bless your hands, my friend

    Don't get me wrong, I love artichokes with mutton.. But I don't think tomato paste is good for this dish.. love

  You should also try the cubed meat. It's the season and just for artichoke lovers like us.
