Ingredients for Dried Tomato and Walnut Breakfast Sauce Recipe

  • 1 small jar of marinated tomatoes or 300 g dried tomatoes 
  • 1 large cloves of garlic
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
  • 1 hot dry pepper
  • Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (lemon zest)
  • Salt
  • If using dried tomatoes, 1 tea glass of olive oil

For the Bagel Crostini:

  • 1 stale bagel
  • Olive oil
  • Black pepper
  • 1 sprigs of rosemary

How to Make Dried Tomato and Walnut Breakfast Sauce Recipe?

  1. Chop the bagels, spray with oil, bake with black pepper and rosemary at 200 degrees (1-2 minutes) until golden brown. 
  2. Put the marinated tomatoes into the processor. (If you are going to use dried tomatoes, soak them in 3-4 cups of warm water to remove salt and soften them, stirring occasionally.)
  3. Add dried pepper and walnuts on top.
  4. Add black pepper, rosemary and garlic and start grinding in the food processor.
  5. Pulse until you reach the consistency you want.
  6. Put it in a glass jar and put it in the refrigerator, and serve with basil or fresh thyme if desired.
