Chicken and Mushroom Pasta Sauce

Creamy Mushroom Pasta is one of my favourites, but when chicken is added to it, its flavor is at its peak. Those who say they just want to make mushrooms can increase the amount of mushrooms to 200 g, that is, half a package. If you say we are 4 people, you can use all the materials x2.

The most important point you should pay attention to while cooking the pasta with the sauce is to cook the sauce and the pasta simultaneously. Thus, a perfect mix emerges. In other words, you should adjust the cooking time of your sauce and pasta well. Naturally, the pasta cooks faster, and you can start boiling the pasta in the middle of the sauce.

Ingredients for Creamy Mushroom Chicken Pasta Recipe

  • half a pack of fusulli or penne pasta
  • 7-8 cultivated mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 pack of milk cream (200 ml)
  • 1 chicken breasts
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 3 tablespoon of olive oil
  • water to boil the pasta

For service:

  • optional fresh onion or fresh basil

How to Make Creamy Mushroom Chicken Pasta Recipe?

  1. Chop the onion. Finely chop the garlic. Thin the chicken breast by dividing it into two transverse parts and cut into pinky finger thicknesses. Chop the mushrooms to the size you want.
  2. Add the olive oil to the pan. Add the onions and sauté until slightly translucent. Add the chicken and sauté until the water is released. Add the mushrooms and garlic.
  3. Turn down the stove, add salt to the boiling water for the pasta while the chickens are draining, and add the pasta and start boiling it.
  4. Add the cream to the drained chickens and cook for 3-4 minutes until the cream starts to boil and thicken.
  5. Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Strain the boiled pasta and add it to the sauce and mix it in the pan for 1 minute.
  6. Take the pasta on a serving plate and serve with chopped basil or spring onions, if desired.
