Creamy Chestnut Soup

Chestnuts are usually consumed as dessert or, depending on the situation, they are boiled and eaten as a kebab. Of course, the chestnut rice that we cook especially at New Year's Eve has a different place. He is with us one day a year and disappears.
Thanks to my dear Ali Usta, I cooked my first chestnut meal. When I tried the Chestnut Vaccine dish from a recipe over 100 years old, I liked it very much and prepared it for my blog. I would definitely recommend it to those who want to try a meaty chestnut dish :)

Ingredients for Creamy Chestnut Soup Recipe
- 250 g boiled chestnuts
- 1 spoonful butter
- 1 medium onion
- 1 cloves of garlic
- 6 water glass of water
- half a cup of cream
- salt
- black pepper
How to Make Creamy Chestnut Soup Recipe?
- Put the onion and butter in the pot. Fry the onions on medium heat until they caramelize. Add the chestnuts and fry for 2 more minutes.
- Add the garlic, mix 1-2 times and add the water. Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add salt and pepper and go through the blender. Add the cream and cook until it thickens and remove from the heat.
- Serve hot with chestnut pieces and finely chopped spring onions, if desired.
