Creamy Spinach Pie
Hello Dear Friends,
I think most of us would finish it if I started with cream pastry or milk donut :) I cooked this cream pastry for the first time this week, which is familiar to our ears since childhood.
I made the mixture completely according to my head and I was very happy with the result. Homemade pastries are great on their own, but it was as if they were bought ready-made from this pastry shop.
Since I used cream in the sauce, there was no need to add extra oil. It was both in consistency and very crispy. We made 3 phyllo dough for 3 people. With these materials, only 4 pieces can be made by increasing the dough. I'm sure you will like it when you try this recipe with potato mortar.

Ingredients for Creamy Spinach Pastry Recipe
- 3 medium-sized phyllo dough
- 300 g of chopped spinach
- 3 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 onion
For the sauce:
- 1 box of cream (200ml)
- 3 tablespoon of yoghurt
- 2 pieces of eggs
How to Make a Creamy Spinach Pie Recipe
- Peel and chop the onion. Wash the spinach until 2-3 waters of sand are gone and cut into large pieces.
- Take 3 tablespoons of olive oil in the pot and add the onion to it. Fry the onions on medium heat until they turn pink.
- Cook the spinach that you wash and chop into the roasted onions by mixing them 2-3 times. Add salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper and continue cooking until the water evaporates, remove from the stove and leave to cool.
- Whisk the cream, yoghurt and egg in the bowl until completely mixed.
- Lay the phyllo dough on the counter and spread a generous amount of sauce on the half and fold the part on which you do not apply sauce.
- Put the spinach paste in strips on the wide part of the dough and wrap it in the form of a roll.
- Wrap all the rolls and place them on a greased tray at 3-4 cm intervals.
- Crack 1 more egg into the remaining creamy mortar and whisk.
- Brush the remaining sauce on the pastries on the tray.
- Finally, sprinkle sesame seeds on them and bake them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until golden brown. Serve hot or warm.
