Ingredients for Creamy Spinach Saute Recipe

  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 500 g spinach
  • 1 cloves of garlic
  • half a pack of cream (100 ml)
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • nutmeg

For service:

  • 7-8 cherry tomatoes (optional)
  • walnuts (optional)
  • 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil

How to Make Creamy Spinach Saute Recipe?

  1. Peel the spinach and separate it from the stems. Soak the vinegar in water and wash it 2-3 more times and put it in a strainer to drain.
  2. Chop the onion and garlic finely.
  3. Chop the spinach coarsely.
  4. Take olive oil and onion in a deep pan or a medium saucepan. Add some salt and sauté on medium heat until the onions turn pink.
  5. Add the garlic and mix 1-2 times.
  6. Add one-third of the spinach to the pan and stir to absorb, add the same amount of spinach on top of the pulled spinach and cook in the same way.
  7. Add salt and pepper along with the remaining spinach and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Finally, add the cream and nutmeg and mix. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  9. If using, sauté the walnuts and tomatoes in a small amount of oil until the tomatoes are lightly cooked. Add it to the creamy spinach sauté you cooked.
  10. Serve warm or hot as desired.
