Fried Banana
Hello Dear Friends,
One of my favorite places on our Far East trip was the Floating Bazaar in Bangkok. I ate Fried Banana, which is as delicious as I've never tasted before, and even made our breakfast with fried banana directly :) I bought 1-2 cookbooks to benefit from here and have a little more knowledge about Thai Cuisine while coming here. When I saw the recipe for fried banana with coconut grated dough in "200 Thai Favorites", one of these books, I thought I should try it.
I think this is one of the recipes that suits our taste in Thai cuisine. There's fruit, there's dough, and it's browning, what else? :)
This recipe does not taste like classic banana fries tempura. As you can see in the photo, a thick dough layer is formed, not thin. I really liked that it was such a puffy puff. It also does not absorb oil.
The dough is not a very sweet dough, if you want, you can sprinkle sugar on it. It can be served with ice cream or consumed with chocolate sauce.
Love…
