Kitchen Secrets 14 Years Old!
If I am a winter blog, a summer child, the birthday of my blog, to which I have woven both my mind and my heart, has arrived! We are in the 14th year of my culinary journey so that beginners do not falter like me. I told the story a long time ago, but it's been so long, let's go over it again. At that time, blogs were not very common, there was almost no proper website. Like many young women preparing for marriage, I bought a cookbook. It's a very thick, colorful thing and it didn't work out what I did :) Maybe from the description and later I realized that most of the images were used ready-made, etc. Anyway, while I was going to be offended by the kitchen, I saw resources on the internet that were not enough to pass the finger of a hand.
After that, I started both writing and shooting. My photos were so bad (of course, the cell phones and digital machines of that time were just sitting there) that I continued to improve myself over time by looking, taking pictures and most importantly by taking many trainings, and I still do.
In the 3rd year of my writing, I received my first professional culinary education at the Istanbul Culinary Institute, then professionally, while working in a job that I did not like, I became the owner of my own business. Of course, this transition was not easy. The photos I took at night looked awful, so I got up early to go to work so I could use the daylight, and I started to get up much earlier to take pictures. It went like this for a very long time. After that, I started my own business and started the digital content production with the name that was not yet put into the influencer era. In this way, I had the opportunity to develop myself more.
I never gave up, I never thought of quitting. Even though I was broke and had to go to other jobs, I kept going. Glad I struggled so much.
Good thing I didn't turn my blog into a community page, good thing I continued individually. In the end, somehow everything came together.
At the beginning of this year, my blog's kitchen secrets gave another beautiful fruit and my first book @artemisyayinlari was published in the @iclalaydinkitap club. Although I have been preparing content for printed publications for years, the effort put into the book was different. It's kind of the embodiment of years of experience and education.
I always have on my mind to go further, to make new books and maybe TV projects in the future. Maybe there will be a surprise soon, you know? :)
