Ozgul, my school friend from Izmir, escapes with us on the occasion of her 3-day vacation :) She will be in Istanbul tomorrow morning. I wanted to make a cake in his honor. I kept the cherries to make cheesecake, but it suddenly came to my mind last night (around 12 o'clock :) )
I both evaluated the biscuits at home and made a cake that Özgül would love. By the way, he saw the photo of the cake before you :) It turned out to be a very easy and delicious cake. When I started work, it was 12:00 and when the cake was finished, it was 12:25 (think about it). It stayed in the fridge overnight and came out of the morning mold very easily. I used whipped cream because I didn't have any cream left at home. And I mixed some powdered hot chocolate with whipped cream. It does not need to be kept in the refrigerator, it can be consumed immediately. If you want to prepare a beautiful and practical cake for your loved ones, I would definitely recommend it...

whipped cream

Ingredients for Cherry Cat Tongue Pie Recipe

500 gr. cherry
2 packs of cat tongue biscuits
2 pack of whipped cream
3 water glass milk
1 pack of labneh cheese
1 disposable instant coffee or hot chocolate
optionally 1 pack of roll coat

Fabrication:

First of all, determine the mold in which the cake will be made, I used a clamp mold, but if you do not have it at home, you can use a small circle-shaped pyrex.
Cover the bottom and sides of the mold you will use with foil. Cut the size of the cat tongue biscuits according to the mold and shorten them, mix the instant coffee with milk and wet the biscuits with this mixture. Firmly yours by leaning against the sides of the mold.
Arrange 1 row so that the remaining cat tongue pieces form the base of the cake. Whisk the cold milk, whipped cream and labneh cheese in a bowl until it has a dense consistency. Spread it to cover the biscuits you have laid on the base.
Continue in this way for 1 row. On the last layer, break the rolls and spread on the biscuits, smooth the top of the cake by applying the cream. Wash the cherries and separate them from the stems. Serve from the outside to the inside.

Well done Nilay lady, I made it yesterday, it was very nice. When we say 3 glasses of milk, I am confused whether we put all of them in the cream or whether the milk we will add to the coffee is included in this. I poured 2.5 glasses of cold milk into the cream and prepared a glass of (hot) coffee with milk, and soaked the biscuits with it. I also added coconut to the cream. It was very nice.
I messed up quite a bit while cutting the cake though. :/
    Thank you :)
