Hello Dear Friends,

Caprese salad is originally prepared with mozzarella, tomatoes and olive oil. I especially love it with pesto sauce, but it makes you eat amazing bread :) This time I decided to make a change and adapt this recipe to a salad with quinoa. (By the way, I just realized my blog caprese salad I didn't add. Recipe to come as soon as possible)

Instead of trying to make pesto sauce, I flavored it with basil leaves. If you want You can try my pesto sauce recipe.

Ingredients for Quinoa Caprese Salad Recipe

  • 1 cup of white quinoa
  • 2 water glass of water
  • 200 g mini ball mozzarella
  • 15-20 cherry tomatoes
  • half a bunch of fresh basil
  • salt
  • olive oil

How to Make Quinoa Caprese Salad Recipe?

  1. Take the quinoa in a medium saucepan. Add water and cook on medium heat until soft.
  2. While the quinoa is cooking, chop the tomatoes and separate the basil leaves from the stems. Finely chop the large leaves as desired.
  3. Cool the cooked quinoa and put it in a deep mixing bowl.
  4. Add tomatoes, basil, olive oil and salt, mix well and serve.
