If you have plenty of roasting left over after the holiday, you can use it in different ways. The most practical examples are fried eggs, fried pastries and roasted puff pastry. In this way, you can feed roasted family members who normally do not eat roasted.

Especially if you add a small piece of garnish to it, you can't get enough of its flavor. I made these pastries yesterday and there is not even one piece left. You can serve them hot or warm during tea time or as a hot starter at dinner, and you can impress your guests.

If you haven't roasted yet, the most delicious recipe here...

Ingredients for Roasted Puff Pastry Recipe

  • 20 sheets of puff pastry
  • 200 gr roast
  • 1 small jar of mixed garnishes (peas, carrots, potatoes)
  • 1 egg yolks
  • 2-3 tablespoons of margarine (to grease the pan)

How to Make Roasted Puff Pastry Recipe?

  1. Make sure that the roast you have cooked or bought ready before is broken into pieces by crushing it with a fork.
  2. Add 1 jar of garnish, which you have drained, into the roast that you cut into small pieces.
  3. Take the puff pastry dough out of the fridge, when it gets soft, put 1 tablespoon of mortar in the middle of each piece and close the edges of the dough in the form of a bundle.
  4. Glue the corners of the closed dough well so that it does not open. Place the pastries 2 cm apart on a pyrex or baking tray greased with margarine.
  5. With the help of a brush, apply 1 egg yolk to all the pastries.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until well browned.
