Today, with a sudden decision, we came to Sakarya's Karasu district as the guest of my dear friend Sinem. It is a very quiet and pleasant town. It is approximately 2,5 hours away from Istanbul. The beach is clean and not too crowded these days :)

As soon as we arrived, our first job was to open the sea season, the sea is warm, just so you know :) When we got back from the sea, my mother made meatballs for us, but I decided to make the Spoon Salad, which I tasted for the first time at Aunt Çiğdem. There is fresh mint in the original recipe, but I used basil.

The most important feature of the spoon salad is that the salad ingredients you use are very finely chopped. Although it may seem a little troublesome, it goes well with meat dishes, especially kebabs. Love…

In fact, friends, tomatoes and onions are cut into concass and cucumbers are cut in the same shape on top of it, and the parsley is finely chopped and added on top and it is very easy to shape the lemonade. A fine-tipped knife will do your job, it is made by giving a small v shape and the other side of the lemon will be just like that shape. Even if there is no fresh basil here , it only gives an aromatic taste , it is not a must . but after everything else is applied to the letter, it is a perfect salad for me.

I recommend that you try the recipe you gave without onion and garlic. Green onions make the salad taste bitter. It does not look stylish in garlic or salad. In order for the salad to be brighter and fresher for a long time, olive oil is added and mixed, then fresh lemon is squeezed and mixed, and finally salt is added and mixed. Try it, you won't regret it.
