Butter or plain oil should be preferred when making omelets. The amount of oil is very important when making an omelet, if you put less oil in the pan, the omelette will stick and fall apart, if you put too much oil, it will be shapeless and greasy. For a medium-sized pan, 1 tablespoon is sufficient at most, if it is too much or if you cannot oil the entire pan, you can rub the melted oil on the surface of the pan with the help of a napkin.

  • 2 large eggs
  • 3-4 tablespoons of grated cheddar cheese
  • butter
  • salt
  • black pepper

How to Make Cheddar Omelet Recipe?

  1. Grate the cheddar cheese.
  2. Grease the pan with butter and heat it. (Do not leave too much oil in the pan) While the pan is heating, add a little salt and pepper to the eggs and whisk.
  3. Take the beaten eggs into the pan and cook until the bottom separates slightly.
  4. Check with spatula, if it comes apart, shake the pan so that it is completely separated from the pan.
  5. Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese on half of the omelet.
  6. Fold the omelet with the help of a spatula and transfer it to the serving plate. Serve with turkey or veal ham, if desired.
