We have come to the end of a busy and tiring week. Friday evening was spent with my family who came to see our new home. I remembered what it means to miss the weekends :)

While I was thinking about what to do with the cauliflower that came to our house as a gift from one of my new neighbors, I thought of making a salad. I can even eat these tiny white buds (except for the ground beef) raw. Although the flavor of the fry is different, if you boil it a little and serve it with garlic yoghurt, you can add whatever you want into it.

Cauliflower Salad

Materials:

  • 1 small cauliflower
  • 1 cup garnish
  • 2 glasses of yoghurt
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 10-12 pitted olives
  • olive oil
  • juice of half a lemon

How to Make Cauliflower Salad Recipe?

  1. Cut off the stem of the cauliflower. Cut it into pieces from the roots and boil it in a pot with plenty of water.
  2. If the cauliflower you have boiled has reached the point of sticking to the fork, it means it is cooked.
  3. Drain the cooked cauliflowers and set aside to cool. Drain the garnishes and add them to the cauliflower.
  4. Crush the garlic by adding water and a little salt, add the crushed garlic to the yogurt and mix well.
  5. Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice over the salad you have prepared, and serve with garlic yoghurt.

As a cauliflower addict, cauliflower is being boiled in 2 separate pots on the stove, one of which will be a salad and one will be soup. I make the salad with grated carrots, fresh onions, parsley, dill, oily lemon, even while I am talking about it, my mouth is watering.

I ALSO MAKE MY SALAD WITHOUT YOGURT, BUT I SERVE IT WITH GARLIC YOGURT ON top of what I make with frying.

Is it okay to not add olives? I ate them without garnish, but I want to try this too.
