Ingredients for Caramelized Onions Artichoke Recipe
- 6 artichokes
- 1 kilo of onions
- 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- Salt
- 1 glass of orange juice
- 1 water glass of water
- 4-5 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoon of peanuts
- 3 tablespoons of currants
How To Make Artichoke Recipe With Caramelized Onions?
1. Chop the onion without thinning too much.
2. Add sugar, salt, vinegar and olive oil and let it cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, with the lid closed.
3. When the color turns slightly, add grapes and pistachios if desired, mix and let it cook again.
4. When the water is withdrawn and the color gets a little darker, arrange the artichokes on top.
5. Add water and orange juice and cook on low heat until the artichokes are soft and the onions are well caramelized.
6. Take the artichokes on a serving plate, divide the onion. Serve warm or cold.
