Ingredients for Caramelized Fig Pan Pastry Recipe

  • 6-7 ripe figs
  • 1 handful of walnuts
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Honey
  • 1 fresh phyllo
  • 4 thin pieces of white cheese
  • Butter

How to Make Caramelized Fig Pan Pastry Recipe?

  1. Cut the dough in a plus shape to form 4 triangles.
  2. Spread the melted butter on the dough and fold it with a piece of white cheese.
  3. Lightly grease the pan with a brush, cook the phyllo dough both front and back for 2-3 minutes and place it on a serving plate.
  4. Place the figs you cut in half into the pan and leave them to caramelize over low heat.
  5. Turn the lightly caramelized figs and add cinnamon and walnuts.
  6. If desired, carefully turn it one more time, flavor it with honey and remove it from the stove.
  7. Share on top of the pastries, drizzle with some honey and serve.
