Pan Pastry with Caramelized Figs
Figs have become indispensable for tables, both fresh and dried. However, when caramelized, this fruit is taken to a whole different dimension.
When cooked slowly, the fig's own sugar forms a protective layer surrounding the outer layer of the fig, while the inside remains soft and juicy.
For me, the most delicious thing that balances this sweetness is a slice of white cheese. The result of the love of cheese and figs is truly magnificent. Are you ready for the most wonderful fig recipe that will be made with few ingredients and using minimum oil :)
